If you cannot attend the four-week schedule of travel sketching classes, you can sign up on a week-by-week basis. WEe provide materials and photos for each session, although you are welcome to bring your own!
Weel One: Friday, July 10, 1 pm - 3 pm. Grasp some simple fundamentals needed to get started, including materials and what to draw to start with!
Week Two: Friday, July 17, 1 pm - 3 pm. Street scenes - how to easily sketch from a cafe table and capture the street around you. Learn how to use pen and ink with a dash of watercolor!
Week Three: Friday, July 24, 1 pm - 3 pm. Sea, sun, and beach. Travel with us to a tropical island and learn to use color.
Week Four: Friday, July 31, 1 pm - 3 pm. Select an image of a distant location you would love to visit and use the techniques you have learned to sketch and paint your final travel sketch! If the weather permits, the group can also go out into Holbrook Palmer Park to sketch in en plein air!
