Our third workshop in the traditional Japanese “Nihonga” painting technique with pulverized mineral pigment. Ayaka will teach us the “BOKASHI” technique of blending softly with 2 brushes: one with pigments and the other with water. Who wants to be a dual-wielding swords(wo)man? :
Ayaka is a visiting artist from Tokyo, and her workshops are popular, so register early to secure a seat. She prepares all the pigments ahead of class. Materials are included with the workshop fee.
