Edward Hopper’s contemplative studies of modern day life and the solitude it can bring, even in the landscapes he painted, have inspired generations of contemporary artists, writers and filmmakers including David Hockney and Mark Rothko, Alfred Hitchcock and Norman Mailer. Learn his use of cropping, his flat brushwork and use of color to create these effects.
All materials included - we will provide brushes, acrylic paint, watercolor paper and canvas boards as well as color wheels.
