First in our four-part series of workshops about American landscape artists of the 20th century. For those of us in California, Edgar Payne brings the Sierra Mountains to life in his amazing landscapes painted in the first half of the 20th century.  Learn about his grasp of simple composition which he documented in a book.  His sense of space is inspiring and brushwork and use of color adds to the grandeur of the American South West he painted so often.
All materials included - we will provide brushes, acrylic paint, watercolor paper and canvas boards as well as color wheels.
